ALL STAFF MUST BOOK A CPR SESSION

ONLY SOME STAFF NEED TO ALSO BOOK A PROVIDE FIRST AID SESSION

If it has been 3 years or more since your last First Aid training you will need to attend a First Aid session as well as the CPR Session. There is NO online training for the CPR session. There IS online training for the FIRST AID session. Check with your principal if you are unsure whether you just need CPR or both CPR and First Aid.

CPR Sessions

There is NO online training for the CPR session. The session will take approximately 2.5hrs. You will undertake practical training and assessment and will need to complete a scenario based incident report form and a short multiple choice quiz. Please bring a pen.

Please note Specific Schools have booked Specific Dates. Please make sure you are booking a date which is offered at your school.

If you are unable to attend the dates offered at your school please speak to your Principal. Depending on numbers you may be able to attend a session at a different school or attend one of the catchup sessions that are scheduled.

First Aid Sessions

If you require the Full first aid course you need to book a CPR session AND a First Aid Session below.

There is some online learning required before the practical First Aid Session. This online learning consists of you reading through the first 3 chapters of an online manual and answering the first 3 online quizzes.

You need to get 100% in the pre-training quizzes, however you can take the quiz as many times as you would like. 

Once you have completed the quiz you will receive an email confirming this achievement. You need you to forward this email to beyondwildernesstraining@gmail.com as evidence of your completion. These will be submitted to the RTO as evidence of your learning.

The practical training will focus on skills development, training and assessment. You will need to complete a scenario based incident report form, a patient report form, and a short multiple choice quiz. Please bring a pen. .

If you happen to be sick on the day or there is a reason you cannot attend, you are welcome to attend a catchup session.

The training will be largely practical skills focused as you have already completed the theory online, however there will be time to ask clarifying questions as we go through the training.

To book yourself in to one of the below sessions you will need:

~ Your Unique Student Identifier (USI) If you do not have a USI or are unsure what one is click “HERE”

~ Your Name as Stated on your USI

~ Your Date of Birth

~ Your place of residence in Australia

~ Your Drivers Licence Number as proof of Identity
